Lawrence Park: Established and Prestigious
If you enjoy the appeal of an older, more prestigious neighbourhood, Lawrence Park is a good place consider. The area has a revered reputation in the city, which means a lot to the families who take pride in living here.
As with other neighbourhoods in the North Toronto area, the schools in Lawrence Park are highly regarded. They include Crescent School, St. Clement’s School, and North Toronto Collegiate Institute, making this a very kid-friendly environment.
The people that live here never find themselves lacking a place to eat, a place to shop, or a place to enjoy a cup of local coffee. In Lawrence Park, all of that is within short walking distance of your front door. The shopping on Yonge Street, the village on Avenue Road, and the shops and restaurants of Mount Pleasant all add up to an impressive array of neighbourhood attractions.
The neighbourhood’s access to the city is excellent. The TTC subway offers a quick connection to the downtown core, or uptown to the city’s other urban centre at Yonge and Eglinton.

The homes in the area are mainly older, with long, large lots that have front yard appeal and room for backyard activities. It is not uncommon in this area to see a mix of rebuilds and new builds between more stately and established neighbours.
