A highlight of the year comes on May 24 weekend, with a locally organized and often spectacular fireworks display.

As with other North Toronto communities, Wanless Park is loved for the quality of its schools. The closest and most highly-rated schools include Crescent School, Loretto Abbey Catholic Secondary School, Havergal College, and Lawrence Park Collegiate Institute.

Amenities

The park itself is the main attraction of the area and features numerous tennis courts, a basketball court, a playground, a waiting pool (with a lifeguard), a baseball diamond, and plenty of grass to picnic or play on. In the winter, the park has a public skating rink that’s lit for nighttime skating.

Accessibility

Wanless Park is an easy 15-minute drive to the 401 and is within walking distance to Lawrence Station, which can take you downtown or across the city via the TTC.
